This Teacher Training Program is divided into two core modules

to address both universal teaching skills and specialized English Language Teaching (ELT) pedagogy:

Module 1: General Teacher Training

(For all subject teachers – 12 hours)
This module empowers all K–12 teachers with essential classroom strategies, including:

  • Adapting instruction for online/blended learning

Module 2: Specialized ELT Teacher Training

(For English Language Teachers – 16 hours)
This module targets the specific needs of English language teachers, with in-depth training on:

  • ELT methods and lesson planning
  • Teaching grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
  • Receptive and productive skills instruction
  • ELT-focused classroom management, assessment, and learner autonomy

Dr. Mohamed Abdulhamid

Dr. Mohamed Abdulhamid is an EFL & EAP instructor, teacher trainer, PD specialist, and educational consultant with a Ph.D. in TEFL and a Master’s in TESOL from the University of Sunderland, UK. Additionally, he is a certified mentor and supervisor by Cambridge University. He has held academic and administrative leadership positions at institutions such as King Abdul-Aziz University and Direct English Institute, Saudi Arabia. As an ELT researcher and international speaker, Dr. Abdulhamid is enthusiastic about ELT research, creative teaching, continuous professional development, and enabling educators with novel approaches.

Dr. Walid Shawky

Dr. Walid Shawky is an ELT educator, teacher trainer, and educational consultant with a Ph.D. in ELT & Teacher Training and a Master’s in TESOL from the University of Edinburgh, UK. He has held leadership roles in professional development across the MENA region and has taught and trained at institutions such as Cambridge University, King Abdul-Aziz University, the University of Derby and Modern College of Business and Science, Oman. A published author and international presenter, Dr. Shawky is passionate about innovative teaching, blended learning, and empowering teachers through cutting-edge methodologies.
